The sanctum is closed between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. On Brahmotsavam and other major festival days the temple remains open through the afternoon.
Early morning, between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM, is the quietest time for darshan. Saturdays, Ekadasi days and festival evenings are the busiest. The pleasant season for travel is October to February.
Kodakanchi lies in Jinnaram Mandal, Sangareddy District — about 8 km from the Sultanpur exit of the Outer Ring Road.

About 40 km by road — roughly an hour from the western suburbs. The easiest approach is by the Outer Ring Road.

The nearest major railheads are Secunderabad and Lingampally. Taxis and buses are available from both stations towards Sangareddy.
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, is the nearest airport (about 95 km). Pre-paid taxis and app cabs are available at the terminal.
The route from Hyderabad is entirely on tarred highway and district roads, comfortable for all vehicles. App cabs generally accept one-way trips to Sangareddy.
Sangareddy town has budget and mid-range lodges roughly 25 minutes away. Most devotees visit Kodakanchi as a day trip from Hyderabad.
Prasadam is distributed after the deeparadhana, and annadanam is served on festival days. Vegetarian restaurants are available in Sangareddy.
Free footwear stand at the entrance. Bags and mobile phones may be left at the counter before entering the sanctum.
Drinking water and a shaded seating area are available in the outer prakaram for waiting devotees.
Separate toilet blocks for men and women are located near the parking ground.
The temple office issues receipts for all sevas and donations. Bookings for Kalyanotsavam and Abhishekam are taken here.
Volunteers assist senior citizens and differently-abled devotees during festival crowds. Please ask at the entrance.
Temples, bhajana mandalis and family groups are welcome. Inform the office in advance and arrangements will be made for your darshan and prasadam.
