Ten Days of Brahmotsavam
The annual Brahmotsavam begins on 1 February and continues for ten days. Its central event falls on 4 February, when the Kalyanam of the presiding deity is performed with his consorts Bhudevi and Sridevi.
Because the temple lies close to the city, very large crowds arrive through the festival. The trust arranges special bus services from Patancheru, drinking water for the queues and health camps on the temple grounds. Temple trust chairman Sri Allani Raj Kumar oversees the arrangements made for a smooth darshan.
Key Days
- 1 February — Brahmotsavam begins; Ankurarpanam and Dhwajarohanam
- 4 February — Sri Swamy Vari Kalyanam with Sridevi and Bhudevi — the most attended day
- Through the ten days — daily vahana sevas, processions and annadanam
- Concluding day — Chakra Snanam and Dhwajavarohanam
The daily vahana order is not published here because it has not been confirmed with the temple office — please call before travelling for a particular seva.
