Ten Days of Brahmotsavam
The annual Brahmotsavam begins in February and continues for ten days. The Kalyanam of the presiding deity is performed with his consorts Bhudevi and Sridevi during the middle of the Brahmotsavam.
Because the temple lies close to the city, very large crowds arrive through the festival. The trust arranges special bus services from Patancheru, drinking water for the queues and health camps on the temple grounds. Temple trust chairman Sri Allani Ramoji Rao oversees the arrangements made for a smooth darshan.

Veda Parayanam and Rudra Homam at the Kshetram
In 2022 this kshetram was one of the temples visited by the Sri Paramacharya Veda Marga Kshetra Darshini — a programme that carries Veda parayanam and Rudra homam, for loka kalyanam, to the 108 divya kshetras walked to by the 68th Jagadguru of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati.
The day here began with Guru Vandanam and abhishekam to the Lord, and went on through the parayanam of three Vedas — Krishna Yajurveda, Shukla Yajurveda and Rugveda — recited together by the ritwiks in the mandapam. Special puja and homam were offered to the presiding deity.
There is a fitness in it. The founder of this temple settled its order of worship after the manner of Kanchi, and the village has been called Telangana Kanchi ever since. A thousand years later the Kanchi Peetham's own Veda programme came to the hill, and the circle closed.

What to Expect on Festival Days
Extended Timings
The sanctum stays open through the afternoon on major festival days. Processions usually begin after 6:00 PM.
Arrive Early
Parking near the temple fills quickly on Garuda Seva and Rathotsavam days. Come before 4:00 PM if you can.
Elders & Children
Separate queue assistance is arranged for senior citizens and families with small children. Ask a volunteer at the entrance.
